This is the Bow River and it ran just behind our campsite in Lake Louise Campground. There was a great walking trail but it was closed down on the other side due to a grizzly with cubs. We still had great walks and didn't see the grizzly.
Flora posing by the Bow River with my mountain - Temple Mountain- in the background. She had a great time in the shallow part of the river, the main part was much too swift for any of the dogs.

This is my mountain - Temple Mountain and I just love it!

At Moraine Lake, we hiked to another lake - Consolation Lake and these are pictures from that hike. It was hard in the beginning as we were walking across boulders and it had just rained. Someone before us had fallen and gotten hurt, so we were very careful. It was well worth the hike.

This is us at Consolation Lake. Behind us are similar boulders that we had to cross at the start of the hike. A very nice young couple from Calgary took these pictures for us and then they were going to hike up the side of the mountain on the left of the picture - NOT us!

Moraine Lake is called the valley of 10 peaks and above are a few of them - just beautiful!

This is Moraine Lake. It could not decide if it wanted to be nasty or nice this day - mostly nice although we did get wet at the end of our hike! We kayaked on Moraine Lake two years ago - it is the prettiest color and great scenery.
